Somebody give me sleeping pills please. Rah I went to bed at like 1130 and now its 2.22. Tadaaaaaa ! Unsurprisingly, I'm still awake. And Twinnie's coming over at 1030 which means I SHOULD BE ASLEEP BY NOW. Honestly, people shoudn't stay up late cause they think of the weirdest things when they do. I mean, people tend to think too much when they try to fall asleep (especially one is in a not-very-sleepy-yet-suppose-to-get-to-bed mood). And always, in the end you'll end up wide awake, with dilated pupils fixed on your bedroom's ceiling, like how I was a few minutes ago. Even the slightest things trigger you to think about things you always try to avoid. Like the sudden thundering sound just now reminded me of the day that I woke up to my Mum's wailing and the bitter news of my brother's accident. You just can't stop thinking; about the past, present and maybe the future. Mayhap this is what they call reflecting. I reckon its more of the torturing of soul. Such incongruity should cease !

Okay ignore the above paragraph. I needed some catharsis to emote and at the same time, make myself sleepy. Cause apparently, reading and watching Harry Potter ain't helping. Bwahahaha.

Took so many pictures until my cam went completely FLAT. Haha oh man, I'm going to miss Sn so much :( Prom was great, a marvelous night to mark the end of high school life. Although the preparation for the night was chaotic, everything was all worthwhile :) Post prom overnight at 119A was fantastic too !

When you're a little kid, you're a little bit of everything. Artist, scientist, athlete, scholar... Sometimes it seems like growing up is the process of giving those things up. One by one. I guess we all have one thing we regret giving up. One thing we really miss. That we gave up because we were too lazy or, we couldn't stick it out or, because we were afraid.
Regrets are formed not because one is incapable, they are formed when one starts giving up.

Brittany's out D: I don't like Dionne. She's such a cheapo, stingy, greedy woman. I can't believe she actually wanted to keep like every single dress she modelled in, I mean thats so uhhhhh, shameless. Hah. Alrighty, I shall briefly touch on the wonderful events which took place over the past few days :)

Yeah so I finally got my prom dress after devoting ihavenoideahowmanylongdays looking for it. Haha, went shopping with Twinnie on Monday and well I must say it was rather fruitful. I got my prom dress from Warehouse, dark marine (the colour I really wanted) and the price was reasonable I guess. Just that I look overly small in it, but it should be fine. Oh and I bought this necklace which looks like grapes for 49 bucks. Don't ask me why, blame the sales girl for having such persuassive coaxing skills and me for actually falling into her "sure-win lucky draw" trap. By the way, I got a $20 gift card which can be spent in Topshop and Warehouse. Anyone wants to exchange for cash ? :D Oh and I got "a chance to win a shopping trip to London", a chance. Hahah oh woah ! Managed to get my heels too ! From DMK :] Wanted to go do facial at Citispa but they were fully booked so Twinnie and I ended up in the Arcade playing Para Para which was superrrrrrrr FUN ! We kind of looked retarded swinging our arms frantically all over the place, up and down with our face glued to the machine's screen. But I must say, we coordinated our "moves" very well. HAH, we have good hand-eye conordination ! (Audition galxzx are coolxzxz !) Camwhoredddddd in the train, on the way back home. I can't upload the pictures cause Laopa refuses to give me the adaptor, oh well, I'll probably sneak into his room and steal it tmrw morning =x

Tuesday was a school day ! Nothing happening happened, really. Went out with Loulou after school and it was pourng like crazy. We had to squeeze under one red umbrella, which was quite a success :] but the only thing was, our shoes got really really wet (My maid threw them away like this morning). Went to do manipedi and I got my nails done ! I'm trying very hard to maintain them in tip top condition so that the polish will last till monday :] They are blue by the way ! Shiny blue, which goes with my dress :D Oh we're going back on Sunday to get our toes and Lou's nails done. Awwwww, I can't wait !

Wednesday was Three Rocks movie day ! Qiqi and Loulou came over to my house early in the morning without any advance notice, appeared in my bedroom when I was still in lalaland. Great. Haha but its kind of normal :] Caught four movies and Tanyingqi dozed off in every single one. Seriously, the movies aren't boring. Its just that, Yingqi is an owlpig who only sleeps in the morning. First was SKY HIGH (Warren Peace is so CuTeXzxZ and HOtzXz &&&& Danielle Panabaker is gorgeous), next was Bring it On ! (Go Torros, go Torros, go go go Torros !), then it was Stuck On You, which was really sweet and hilarious. Mean Girls (our all time fave) was the last movie we caught HAHAHAHHA classic :D

Oh by the way, speaking of Mean Girls this was what happened today.

Lou: Oh my God Jing, you can't just ask people why they're white.

Today was a great day spent with great people doing great things like shopping for Demin shorts and bras. Okay I was the only who bought a bra but ! We all bought shorts :D $18 per pair, cheap cheap. I bought liang ge :] Oh and tell you what, wearing shades all day is a pretty enjoyable thing to do ! I'll tell you guys more about it next time.


Teehee, Lou has pretty shades ! :] So after shopping at Bugis, Yingqi went for her 25bucks facial and jinglou went to eat Haato ! Icecream and Waffle are all time love. (Would you like your waffle buttered?) Hahahahahaha. By the way, I make deliscious butter-honeyed waffles, so when you want to eat good waffles, call me along ! :D Met Becks and we went to swing. Yay I love swinging haha. But you get really shag after awhile. Took pictures and relived childhood.


Then went to Lou's house to relax for a bit before going home.

The thing about addictions is it never ends well because eventually, whatever was getting us high stops feeling good and starts to hurt. Still, they say you don't kick the habit until you hit rock bottom but how do you know that you're there? Because no matter how badly that thing is hurting us, sometimes letting go, hurts even worse.

Hullo world ! Today is an extremely tiring day compunded with fun & laughter :]

Went to watch choir in the morning at Hwa Chong Institution. You never know how much I detest the wideness of the school. Why the hell do they need so many bloody gates ? AND why must it be so freaking huge. Seriously, I spent 12 bucks on cab fare. AND I'M SUPPOSE TO STAY LIKE NEAR BUKIT TIMAH wth. So anyway, twelve bucks D:< But ohwell, at least I didn't miss Sn choir's performance, which was like the first. Well I won't say that it was fantastic but there was major improvement compared to practice. And they got a gold ! (Fourth position among the 12 choirs). I'm super happy for them, not purely because they got a gold, but because their hard work paid off and the efforts channeled in was no less than other schools. And I think we shouldn't be too critical about this competition thing, I mean every choir has their good and negative points and there must be a reason why some choir made it and some choir didn't. Great job Sn choir ! You guys deserve the gold :) BUT DON'T BE COMPLACENT YO.

So anyway, happy results give way to a happy Lingjing BUT buses which took forever to arrive like 171 and 174 annoy me. Cinch and me waited and waited and waited for the bus to come, and I was late for like half an hour. I'M SORRY CHARM :(

Met Twinnie and headed to Vivo. We met Naiying there ! Yeha. So anywya, walked and walked and walked until our legs almost broke. But we had a great time :D I bought a sweater and loads of candies from Candy Empire. No prom dress today and its not because I'm fussy okay ! Shopping again with Twinnie on Monday ! :]

I just received three letters. First, is the Cambridge Tutors' acceptance letter (AIR MAIL HAHAH DAMN COOL), second my UOB Internet Banking confirmation letter and lastly, UOB password assurance letter. I FEEL LIKE AN ADULT NOW hahhaha. Srsly.

Anyway school was great today and after school was even better :) Went to collect some documents and had prize presentation. Cheered and clapped until my palms were swelling haha but we had a great time ! So after prize presentation, went for Student Council 2008 investiture which was quite alright i guess. Indeed "Student Council" sounds much more classier than Pmb ;) So after Invest, me, Andrea, Mel, Diana, Wangling and Naiy (6/9 of Wisdom's pmb) went out for lunch ! After much discussion, we ended up at Dintaifeng eating Xiao Long Baos. Hee hee. It was damn funny cause Andrea & I finished the food like super early and we just kept drinking the chinese tea and smiling to ourselves ! Haha so all of us started talking about.... everything, and it was really fun and we were making super a lot of noise. Hahha it sounded like a fish market and I bet the waiters were like extremely amused. Talk for around like an hour then we foot the bill and left :] We should have another pmb outing yo and it has to be a 9/9 ! :D

The upcoming days will be a blast ! Shopping, choir, movies, manicures, class outing etc. Omg I can't wait :] And I'm spending a lot of money, like unknowingly. Oh well -shrugs.

Game plan was good today :D & I had ample fun and accomplishment at TPY's cyber cafe. By the way here's a list of things that I NEED TO GET (DESPERATELY) :

It turns out, sometimes you have to do the wrong thing. Sometimes you have to make a big mistake in order to figure out how to make things right mistakes are painful, but they're the only way to find out who you really are.

Probably a random quote I got from somewhere, but its scary how true it sounds. Mistakes are inevitable, in a way I guess. Everyone makes mistake it depends the way you manage and learn from these mistakes that make you different from others. Emotions, they are incontrollable and to let them cloud your vision and affect you spiritually is the worse mistake ever. It is like a natural phenomenon akin to a tornado. It is fearsome thing to watch and even scarrier to be a target of it. So maybe if you learn to pick yourself up right now, you won't die crying in bed.
